Well-being is the balance between all the areas of our life:
1. Family/Home 2. Business/Finances
3. Mental/Education 4. Physical/Health
5. Social/Cultural 6. Spiritual/Ethical
If we want our life to be full of harmony, joy and happiness, we have to give enough attention to all the six of them. To say it is important is not enough - it can be a matter of life or death. Just read this story, please. At the beginning of the twenties, nine of the most successful men in the world at that time had a meeting in one of the most luxurious Chicago hotels. They collectively controlled more wealth than the entire United States government. Among them were figures like the president of the largest American steel company, the president of a utility company, one of the members of the President's cabinet, and the president of the New York stock exchange.

If you followed these nine most successful men in the world twenty-five years later, what would you expect to see? Probably that they lived the happiest, most prosperous, most enjoyable life you can imagine.

Now, prepare for a shock: twenty-five years later, the first three of these men were totally broke, the next three were not only broke, but in the penitentiary, and the next three were dead. They simply overlooked one very important factor: a proper balance between all the areas of their life.

Each of us heard stories about the most successful people: businessmen, actors, politicians - whose lives are very unhappy and many times end tragically just because they forgot about the importance of maintaining this balance.

We all should wisely divide our attention, time, and energy between all the six areas of our life, as the proper balance is essential for our well-being.
